Today we are on our way to PLN. The PLN makes sense to me but I will not have many comments until I start creating the Personal Learning Network.
We have lots of great tools at our fingertips and I can't wait to learn more.
If you have had experience creating a PLN, I would love for you to take the drivers seat and give me some advice, share your experience, or share a best practice. The keys to this adventure are waiting for you.

Techtooljule, I probably will not be much help. What I have done based on my job is try and locate sights that have teaching or education involved, then search those for tags related to delivery or innovative ways of engaging students in traditional classroom settings. I am still sorting through a lot and have been able to find a couple that I have found really useful so far. Finding the right tag is the tricky part kind of like when your searching the net, getting the right words or combination of words to get you to that perfect menu.
ReplyDeleteI found a blog called the Learning Nation and have been exploring it.
ReplyDeleteTechtooljule,
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I haven't had much experience with PLNs either. Before this course I hadn't even hear of PLNs, but after learning about it I'm going to be working hard to build my PLN. I can see the benefits of having a strong PLN and I look forward to experiencing the benefits first hand.
The only experience I have had recently is that I started Facebook, about three months ago, and it has helped me connect with many different business professionals within the organization that I work for. It has been a great experience and I look forward with connecting with more people. When it comes to PLN I think it is important to stay open minded and always research what others tell you.
